Café de Thyme

I have been seeing post from this coffee shop for the last few weeks I knew I had to come visit. I am a visual eater and just by presentation alone they won me over. First parking was easy and upon entry to the restaurant we were greeted. Aesthetically this coffee shop is quaint yetbeautiful. I ordered the blue sky, which is the blended coconut drink with pea flower extract. it was refreshing and lightly sweetened. My partner got the pea flower coconut water drink, and thought it was nice and refreshing! My other friend wanted a blended coffee, which was not on the menu however they created something that was extra exceptional and beautiful. We also got some desserts to go my favorite Hokkaido cheesecake. It was absolutely delicious! Light and refreshing but not too sweet. This place has won my heart over and I’ll surely be back

Cute cafe! Ordered a cream puff and blue sky smoothie and they were yummy and not overly sweet. The smoothie was not thick more of a milk ice slush texture which I enjoyed. My sister ordered butterfly-pea-coconut water. Definitely will come back to try different items on the menu . We arrived around 3:30pm on a Monday so it wasn’t busy, but it is a small space with I’m guessing enough seating for around 15-18 customers…just fyi if you plan to come with a group. Update: the lemon meringue cake was amazing as was the butterfly pea-passion fruit drink!

This is my second time coming here and I absolutely love the cakes (they’re homemade!) and drinks. The atmosphere is calm and the place is well kept, extremely clean and tidy. 11/10 would recommend!!!

This new cafe is an absolute treat to visit! They have a lovely assortment of desserts from cake, cookies, cream puffs, pana cotta, brownies, and cheesecake. Their menu features a variety of drinks with something for everyone—coffee, espresso, tea, lattes (including matcha), lemonade, and flavored milk. Over the past few visits, I ordered the matcha latte, Thai tea, yuzu thyme, green tea with matcha, coconut cake, and Hokkaido cheesecake. I’ve been happy with everything I’ve ordered here! Their cakes are on the lighter side and are not overwhelmingly sweet, which I prefer. They also make an amazing matcha latte and Thai tea. This cafe is perfect for catching up with a friend or stopping by for a sweet treat. The employees are also very friendly. Café de Thyme is a sweet addition to downtown Columbia and definitely a must-visit!

Probably one of the best caramel macchiato’s I have tried in a very long time. My husband had the mocha and he absolutely loved it too. Next time we visit we will definitely try a specialty coffee. We also got a sea salt chocolate tart to go and was absolutely delicious. You can tell they use good quality ingredients. The little touch of gold on the tart and the to go packaging makes the coffee shop a special place that makes the costumers feel appreciated. We will definitely be back.

Love this spot!! The tea and coffee we ordered were beautiful and delicious, the coconut cake was AMAZING, and everyone working was so kind and helpful. Such a cozy and clean atmosphere, too!! Don’t pass this place up!! We will definitely be back as much as possible :)

It's about time Columbia got some new flavor. Take a stroll off the beaten path and enjoy your morning caffeine without all the extra sugar and cheap additives. Food: They offer a few breakfast pastries to go with your beverage and many desserts. The chocolate muffin was decadent and served with a refreshing dollop of cream. The Thyme Thai Tea was one of the best I've had in a long time. It didn't have that chalky taste that comes from a tea with red dye. Service: The barista and chef were both very kind, and knew how to work their kitchen. Atmosphere: Beautifully decorated and very clean. Different areas to sit and relax as you are serenaded by an awesome playlist. Let's get Café de Thyme on the map! Support local and your health by avoiding extra sugar from your OTHER cafe option nearby.

Absolutely love this place!! The ambiance was perfect—light-filled, relaxed, and welcoming. I had the coconut cake, mixed berry cheesecake and the coconut blue sky frappe, they were all so delicious. The flavors were top notch, not too sweet, just right! I’ll definitely be back to try other desserts.
